Companies chose to purchase their own lab mixers for many reasons; one is for testing a smaller batch to eliminate product waste on a large full scale batch. Another reason is that places may not have the space for larger equipment and a smaller mixer gives them the freedom to create new product and test the market before going in to mass production.
The design and set up of these mixers allow for the blending of high viscous materials such as; pastes, dough like material, dry and wet granulations, shear sensitive gels, fiber filled mixtures, abrasive compounds or fragile components.
Its identical blades rotating on their own individual axes, while simultaneously orbiting on another axis, provides for thorough agitation.
Our Lab Planetary Mixers feature:
- Heavy duty robust unit designed for mixing viscosities of several 1,000 to 2 mill centipoise
- .5 Liter unit fitted with glass vacuum hood for open viewing
- All units are vacuum capable allowing for deaeration or dehydration of the product.
- All wetted parts are stainless steel for easy quick clean up.
- Available in either 100 volt single phase or 230 volt, 3 phase
- Compact portable design for easy storage.
