Selecting the right media mill for your application is crucial.
Horizontal media mills, submersion-type basket media mills and high-shear dispersers are ideal for the grinding of wet applications for particle size reduction. Key factors to consider include the nature of the material to be reduced, whether it is fibrous, sticky or heat sensitive, whether the material is hard and/or abrasive, and how fine a size is desired. The finer the end particle size that is needed, the smaller the grinding media should be.

Its sibling, the CMC Duplex Supermill Plus™ media mill, is designed with two chambers on one common frame. The product passes through the first chamber and directly into the second chamber without the need of a surge tank or separate feed pump.
Another product in the line is the CMC Batch Mill which provides efficient, one tank milling of a wide range of formulations due to its dual shaft/dual speed control configuration.
And CMC Double Planetary Mixers are perfect for mixing and kneading viscous pastes, gently blending shear sensitive formulations or drying and granulating powders.
